2012

  • Completion of the second phase of the factory upgrades with the establishment of the Glucose line.

2008

  • Completion of the first phase of renovations and upgrades to the operational facilities of the company by the establishment of a starch factory.

2004

  • The Egyptian Starch & Glucose Manufacturing Company was acquired by Americana Group and its subsidiaries Cairo Poultry Group and Egyptian company for International Touristic Projects.

1961

  • Under the Egyptian government’s nationalization program, the Serbakes and Cotseka companies were merged, forming the Egyptian Starch & Glucose Manufacturing Company.

1954

  • Torah factory for producing starch and glucose founded by Mr. Cotseka.

1942

  • Mostrod factory for producing starch and glucose founded by Alexander Serbakes.
